Collaboration in focus at Aluminum Days 2025
News

This year’s Aluminum Days gathered Sweden’s aluminum industry at Omberg to discuss global challenges, future technologies, skills supply and competitiveness. In an increasingly uncertain world, collaboration was highlighted as key to ensuring a sustainable and resilient aluminum sector.
“Fantastic turnout with forward-looking, positive and lively discussions, with collaboration at the core to solve our industry’s complex challenges,” said Lars-Inge Arwidson, Chair of Svenskt Aluminium and Steering Committee member of Swedish Metals & Minerals. “I’m also especially pleased to see a strong team from Swedish Metals & Minerals on site, showcasing the opportunities for our stakeholders to leverage the program and its innovation power.”
The two-day program offered inspiring lectures, networking and knowledge exchange – from international market outlooks and preparedness to technology development and skills provision. As tradition, the event also included the Swedish Aluminium Golf Trophy, a gala dinner, and the announcement of the Stora Aluminiumpriset 2024.
Aluminum Days continues to be the industry’s most important annual meeting place, strengthening Swedish aluminum through knowledge, inspiration and collaboration.
