Here are the highlights of the Svemin Autumn Summit 2024
Today’s summit brought together leaders and experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. The focus was on how the industry can navigate in a time of global tensions and increasing sustainability demands.

🔑 Ore rail – the lifeline of industry
“The Ore Line handles 40% of Sweden’s freight traffic. When it closes down, we lose SEK 100 million a day,” says Jan Moström, CEO of LKAB.

“We need to spread the understanding of raw materials supply, from primary school to society at large.” says Susanne Norgren, Sandvik.
