Ore we there yet? – a podcast on mining’s role in the sustainable value chain

Mining plays a crucial role in securing the raw materials needed for the green transition. But how can it become more sustainable, and what part does Sweden play in shaping the global mining and metals industry? These are the questions explored in Ore we there yet?, a new podcast launched by Swedish Mining Innovation.

Through conversations with leading researchers, industry experts and innovators, the series sheds light on the metals hidden in everyday objects – such as the 75 elements in a smartphone – and examines both progress and remaining challenges on the path toward circular and sustainable material flows.

– Our aim with this podcast is to make knowledge, ideas, and real-life experience from the past decade accessible to the wide range of stakeholders we believe are essential for achieving more sustainably sourced metals and minerals, says Charlotte Andersson, Program Director of Swedish Mining Innovation.
