A fantastic final Programme Day for Swedish Mining Innovation

On 5 November, Swedish Mining Innovation gathered project leaders, researchers, and industry representatives for a final Programme Day – an event highlighting the wide range of research and innovation projects supported by the program through Vinnova, Energimyndigheten and Formas.

The day was filled with inspiring presentations, valuable discussions and curious questions, showcasing how innovation contributes to a more sustainable and resilient mining and minerals sector. During the breaks, there was also plenty of time for networking, exchange of experiences and new project ideas – reflecting the strong collaborative spirit that characterises the Swedish mining innovation ecosystem.

The programme office would like to extend a big thank you to all project managers and presenters for their fantastic contributions, and to all participants for the engagement throughout the day. We would also like to thank our funding agencies Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and Formas for their continued support, and a special thanks to Vinnova for hosting the event.

Throughout the years, Swedish Mining Innovation has funded a wide range of projects – driving progress across the sector. This final Programme Day was a strong reminder of the collaboration and commitment that have made this innovation journey possible.

A big thank you from the Program Office on site – and from everyone who has been part of this fantastic journey.

📄 The presentations will be uploaded below shortly.
