Important results from the project

The project´s objective was met. It identified social challenges and opportunities linked to metallurgical biocarbon and proposed concrete measures. Other important results:

Expected long term effects

Approach and implementation

Projektet HåBiMet – Socialt Perspektiv was a feasibility study that investigated social aspects of metallurgical biochar. Four work packages were implemented: project management, social acceptance, skills provision and consortium development. Methods included workshops, interviews, seminars and sustainability analysis. The results form the basis for new projects and continued collaboration between industry, academia and societal actors.
