Swedish Metals & Minerals is one of five programs within Impact Innovation – Sweden's large innovation initiative to tackle the challenges of our time and the future. Impact Innovation is initiated by the Swedish Energy Agency, Formas and Vinnova.

Program Office

The Program Office carries out the operative work, which essentially consists of planning, developing work processes and implementing activities within the program in accordance with the mission.

Mission Control is an advisory group responsible for guiding the Steering Committee to decisions, ensuring that the program is in line with the overall strategy and that the program’s efforts lead towards the mission.

Program Office

Find us where industry meets innovation

The Program Office is led by the coordinator Jernkontoret in collaboration with Luleå University of Technology, LTU Business, Sustainable Steel Region, SveMin, the Swedish Foundry Association, Swedish Aluminum and Örebro University.

We are represented with offices in Luleå, Stockholm, Sandviken and Örebro, where the industry has a strong presence. The program is stakeholder-driven and involves actors in the mining, metals, recycling and manufacturing industries, academia, research institutes, municipalities, regions, associations, trade unions and public authorities.
